As a follow up to my own problem i have to say the following:
I was called to fix the savage bike of a cousin of mine(after carrying out a complete restoration on my one made me an expert) having trouble with the carburator. the engine was backfiring a lot.thats where i saw the fuel adjusting screw it was set to half turn and his bike was running like an angel. anyhow what i want to share with the rest of you having the same problems as the subject above is that i managed to overcome my problem by adjusting the fuel mixture screw on the right side of the carburator from one and half turn to just half like my cousin had. that made the bike run like a sweetheart and that problem dissapeared. even before making that adjustment i managed to overcome that problem by reving slightly the engine before shifting down each gear during decelaration. that also works.
hope i help a few of you.
regarding another post up i had regarding the construction of a fuel indicator i have come to many ideas most of them included using dry resistant elements and according to the level insight to light up some led's positioned in the millage indicator. its relatively easy to built but i am afraid the use of elecricity inside the tank no matter how little. another idea was the use of a floater. a managed to get a good design and how to install it but i dont know how to convert the movement of the floater into some kind of indication. can anyone help
